@DrFruikenstein Check out the "Thrive" documentary. Just as The Venus Project suggests, the forms of free energy are endless. And you're wrong about how society doesn't know how to change. It's happening already. The Occupy revolution/movement is a prime example of this. It's gone global. All these people demand change & a better world for all. If we educate them on the solutions like The Venus Project suggests, then we can start setting goals to implement it! Another world IS possible! Chin up!

@kenmiester23 You are wrong , you were tought that what nato is doing in Libya Afghanistan and Serbia was communism . Communism stands for defending peace and every comrade help eachother so that there is no competition but synergy and everybody gets rich . Gaddafi was closest to communism factory made cars , free electricity , cheap taxfree homes free government money to everybody (about 2200 USD a month) . IF I HAD THAT I WOULD BE HAPPY!!!

@SovietToday i know about communism theres no GOD and theres no Economic competion and the state controls it all and tells all what to think how to think and even when to think "COMMUNISM" but yes your right that is cold war thinking now 21 century thinking its gonna be worse as there is now tech that can record every bodys conversation and how long until thoughts can be moniterd even chemicaly alterd you dont want communism trust me as this will be the reality!!!

During Soviet era western governments did never afford to get that corrupt like today . The soviets were helping Libyans from getting attacked . Modern Russia that is imperialism and NATO are based on FEAR!! We are all afraid of a nato invasion at home right?

i really dont get this VP its wrong on nearly every level. it goes against the very thing these people are trying to promote and thats NATURE wheres Dawinism? wheres neccerty as thats the mother of invention? wheres freedom and the right to choose? i dont want to live in this world of his so what will they do KILL me OFF? i cant be allowed to be free in case i use his precious resources its fantasy fiction no better or any more practical then believing in that startrek Foolishness

@SovietToday socailism or communism is ok in theory but the principle falls apart right at the begining because the basic principle is flawed as you believe evry one is equal which is not true people are only equal in the eyes of the law. every one is at a different level on the parth of life so how can people be equal if i know more then you? im not saying that im better then you. communism is FEAR based so no 1 has the chance to rise above the others and no 1 is special.communism is BS

@kenmiester23 As communists we support the evolution of technology but we do not back venus where machines make it possible so that only ruling class and their puppets survive , however we support technological development and the nessesary education to provide it but not the genocidal projects that NATO started in an attempt to lower the worlds population.

Though I agree with most of this, the reality is that society doesn't know how to change, and will disagree about almost anything good. Until either our planet forces change on people, or something like The Venus Project has been around for 50 - 75 years so people can see the benefits, the best we'll likely get are small groups of us that understand the benefits of a resource based economy.
I disagree with geothermal energy as it tends to have some destructive issues when used on a large scale.
