  • The Supreme Court made the law...

5 - Republicans voted for it

    4 - Democrats voted again'st it

He needs to be honest, and tell everyone that the Republican's on the Supreme Court made and passed the law, not the Democrats.

And Clarence Thomas wife Ginny collected alot of money from lobbyist's to fight the health care law, and Clarence did not claim that money on any Tax return form. Clarence Thomas also accepted gift's and free vacations from the Koch bros in the past.

    I.O.K.I.Y.A.R.

  • Unions and other special interests groups had the field to themselves for so long. They are jealous and upset that now corporations, not just unions can also give. Unions give hundreds of millions to the DNC who redistribute the money to specific candidates. No one know the origin of the money. It has been laundered. So this video is a shame by Think Progress a Soros subsidized outfit.

  • ~~> Great question... STOP THE CORPROTOCRACY...

  • @whoo689 IDIOT bastard!

  • I'm afraid the teabaggers beat us in 2010. Just accept it, move on and live to fight another day! Fight in the HERE AND NOW, not bitching about shit that happened in 2010 with regards to "secret" campaign funds.

  • The underlying assumption seems to be that WITHOUT the money, American progressives would've kept the Democratic majority in Congress. Yeah, sure. Even though the VAST MAJORITY of voters tend to vote almost always with one side or the other, and 'true' moderates are few and far between, in reality. Even Indies tend to lean GOP or Democratic, and "true Independents" have historically been only 10-15% of voters.

  • UNTIL you can prove that the money used for campaigning was ACTUALLY obtained through illegal, foreign funds, stop wasting your time. In the end, money is money. Whether it was obtained through foreign sources or not has no bearing on HOW it's used, does it? Does money "magically" become 10x as effective in politics because it came from foreign sources?

Bitching excessively about money in politics DISTRACTS us from so many other worthwhile goals and ways to build a PROGRESSIVE COALITION.

  • We don't reveal our hourly or yearly incomes to EVERYONE on the street because that's, frankly, private. Everyone doesn't need to know how much you make. We don't ask women their ages or weight, generally, because that's considered impolite. But no one's doing anything ILLEGAL there.

Get over it and MOVE ON.
