@SonnyMcDingleson are you stupid , first off the iso insurance rating would suffer for your town if you didnt replace or refurb your tower ladder and this means everyones house insurance in town goes up over 17%. secondly you are required to have gear and apparatus that meets nfpa standard for safety reasons, and lastly volunteers make up 77.9% of the depts in the USA and i pray that you never have to experience a tragedy like a house fire to change your tune. what a joke

Good to see our tax money being put to good use (note that this is sarcasm)..what the fuck do we need this for? Just another toy for the out of shape, oceanside volunteers to drive around to false alarm house calls in. The thing had to cost at least a half a mil maybe more. Our local elected officials really need to start using our money for things that are more worthwhile, not a cool, shiny fire engine with lots of cool gadgets that are completely unnecessary. Idiots!!
