@Supertramp1966 Yes, I get your point. Your grandfather was a very strong man. Most folks who smoke for many years have health problems eventually because of it. I'm glad you were given so much time to spend with your grandfather.
Well, I suppose the only way to respond to your comment is with a great Sinatra quote, one of my favorites - "You die your way, and I'll die mine."
Everyone has a right to their vices and there's no guarantee's even if you don't have any. Perfect case in point would be my grandfather -- he smoked "cancer sticks" for 55 yrs. and died at 92 (unrelated to smoking). On the other hand, my boss' husband just died at 62 of lung cancer and never smoked a day in his life. Get my point??
It's kinda sad to see so many of these legends sucking on cancer sticks. If they hadn't been smokers perhaps some of them would still be around today.
@irvinetustin
Thank you for your kind and thoughtful response. How rare it is to be able to give an alternate opinion and not get bashed for it...Cheers to you!

Lol, he's intentionally doing what Archie Bunker unknowingly did. I love malapropisms.
