Just days before the ice storm hit, the Mid-Atlantic was forecasted to receive an upwards of 2 feet of snow extending from Richmond to Philadelphia. As the days passed, the storm track creeped further north--but the rain/snow line held it's ground, or at least it tried. Upon the start of the storm, cold air which was dammed between the Appalachian Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean didn't budge as the warm air wedged itself into the Mid-Atlantic--thus creating an ice storm for the entire area.
orginally had Undone by Weezer playing in the background so the video made more sense. Now it sucks. sorry.
I remember this. It snowed two feet where I live and the snow froze. You can literally walk on it and slide around. And it didn't melt until two months later. :)
