CULTURE CHRONICS - CHRONIC LOVE ORCHESTRA @ CLFW

Sun Aug 12th 2007 saw the final performance of the 3 day Multi Level CLF WEEKENDER [SE15 London] and the coming together of THE CHRONIC LOVE ORCHESTRA [although we didn't know it yet]. CLF [Chronic Love Foundation] Founders, Legendary Drummer / Producer / arranger MARQUE GILMORE the inna-most and Progressive Beat Head and FX Junkie JAZZHEADCHONIC DJ Mickey Smith took to the stage as The CULTURE CHRONICS alongside Chronic Regular, STEVE WILLIAMSON only to be joined by the irrepressible LISA LORE who was down for the event. Pure Improvisation flowed and, well, check the clip for yourself ........

The Event saw over100 Cutting Edge acts performing on x3 3000 sq ft levels, over 3 days at a 120 year old 5 Floor Warehouse named The Bussey Building, This Clip features the last 15 minutes of the weekend.

Standout performances over the three days came from STATE OF BENGAL, JAMOJAMOARTS, WUNMI, DAZ I KUE [BUGZ IN THE ATTIC],

Having loved the vibe and flow with Lisa + several other artists whom MICKEY and MARQUE had played with over the CLF WEEKENDER, we [The CLF] having been recently invited to perform at the BATTERSEA ART CENTERS BURST Festival, saw a great opportunity to put together the Chronics + some of our favourite Artists from the WEEKENDER in an established / semi-permanent set up + THE CHRONIC LOVE ORCHESTRA was born. Only now in addition to JAZZHEADCHRONIC, MARQUE and STEVE W , Vocalists [LISA LORE and KHADIJATOU] an African Drum Orchestra [JAMOJAMOARTS], String Section [JO SILVERSTON -- CHIMERA QUARTET], Keyboard Wizard [JESSICA LAUREN] , Live Bassist STATE OF BENGAL, Champion Turntabalist [DJ SIYA] , Original Deck Head and Producer [DJ LE ROUGE], Superior VJ [COCO of VISIONARY UNDERGROUND] + more have been invited to join up and create a brand new progressive thirty piece 21st century ancient to future band that's ready to break the Eclectic Sound Fusion Barrier.
