  • you're terrified of her art because you don't understand it, so I suppose I should forgive you for your ignorance, but it's very hard for me because you are insulting something that many people truly find beauty in, myself included. don't insult what you don't understand.

  • Louise, I loved you as a mother :*

    Rest now.

Your emotions will live forever in your art.

    Greetings from Canada!

  • Thank you for spreading the knowledge about the world famous artist Louise Bourgeois.

  • messing with the past is like playing with the dead-alan watts..this lady is amazing!but i wouldn't have focused so much on the negative memories.. she sounds overly emotional and irrationally /serious like me.. lol.. emo people need to keep it sunny/ tricks my bad moods..turn bad into good.. it looks like badd into a phsycial display of the bad.. ba

  • great

  • Her work will live on forever! RIP to a wonderful artist, and a wonderful woman.

just because someone is terrified of artwork doesn't mean they are incapable of appreciating it. i don't know exactly who you were addressing with your comment. i think louise would disagree with your reception of her work as "beautiful". that seems to be a word that is thrown around too much, and understood too little. she said it best herself "I didn't promise you a rose garden". the emotions that her sculpture radiates is one of dread and awe, not beauty.

  • Querida Louise, descansa en paz

  • A great artist..

  • ENFIN UNE MAMIE qui fait autre chose que des confitures et des canevas en dentelle!
