couple of things, top of the stairs usually doesn't work too well, it click when They're at top and they run past it, or they see it easily enough. Danger close indeed does nothing. And finally, a face shield helps survival alot, pill means it won't kill you, even if you lay on it, and fast run you'll usually run right by it. And of course the delay perk.
