Great action video! I love canoeing but especially canoe racing! The river was beautiful. Not enough people realize how much fun canoeing is and how many different ways there are to enjoy it. What type of camera were you using? How long was the race? What part of Canada where you at?

I used GoPro HD Hero. It is my very new toy, so I am just learning how to play with it. Race was 12 km, and it is Richmond, near Ottawa, Ontario. jockriverrace.ca for details. Both we (Bill & me) and Lynette & Sonja got second place in rec men resp. women; both of us didn't manage to defend the 1st place from year 2010. For Bill & me it would have been a hattrick (3 in a row). Oh, well, next time. It was fun!!
