Waverly Evans is probably related to me as my ancestors came from Smith Island and my last name is Evans.I used to work on the water with my dad in the 70's and 80's but chose to leave it because even back then i could see a decline!I loved it more than anything because i think its in my blood to be on the water!

At least one piece of information on this video is incorrect. Waverly Evans, my father, does not live in "a small, colorful shack he painted himself. That building is his crab shanty. He lives in a normal, two-story, cape cod style home. The same one he's lived in for more than 60 years.
