This is a scratch built balsa and tissue Fokker Dr.I with components (Spektrum AR6400) ) from an E-Flite 4-Site. It has a wingspan of 40cm (15.75 inch) and weighs 35g. It is piloted by Russell Holmes.

  • It can roll fairly well, although not a precise axial roll. It can do one roll within the length of a basketball court.

  • I built the triplane somewhat haphazardly from a collection of drawings and 3-views. I unfortunately don't have a plan. However, you can buy a similar Fokker from Aerowerks/DPC Models. Note that to make the plane fly well you really need to keep it light.
