Are they just a late 80,s/early 90,s fashion?when did this change?I know that they would sell very well in dept store, its a pity they are not generally available.They are very very sexy.Much more sexy than a lot of the crap today.

LOVE satin panties! My favorite will always be a satin full-back string bikini panty! Every store had these back in the day..Circa 80s through 90s. Now panties today just SUCK. Lingerie in general is not even a shade as sexy as it used to be. I've looked through Frederick's of Hollywood recently...I mean hardly ANYTHING looks a damn. It's like lingerie has chosen to be weird-looking over sexy.

Agreed. Satin and silk lingerie is still sold though. La Senza has loads of it lol but yeah knickers were way sexier back then. Now its just thongs and G strings, and T strings lol

totally agree the crap today is too teenage girly. If memory serves me correctly, they stopped selling satin panties like this in 2003. By 2004 there wasn't any to be found. It's a pity.
