You Changed My Heart Ch. 21

Hey guys!! SKI BREAK at my school!!! How awesome??? So I have time for a bunch of stories this week...or at least two :]. How's that? I hope you're very content!!!!

Now, for what happened last chapter: Marissa was taken into Joe's room for a little "alone" time. Bad boy Joe! You have a baby to come home to! Do you really want another one? No protection on this one!!! Nick wakes up from Joe's brutal beat-down and finds Anaita curled up downstairs and his feelings for intensify. Where's he going to take HIS passion? Let's find out!

Anaita's POV
Nick had a little bruise on his nose and I was immediately worried. His eyes looked tired as if he had just woken up from something.
"Nick?" I whispered. "Wha-What happened?"
I could see the hunger in his eyes and I knew he wanted ONE thing from me. Or did he only want that? My feelings were dizzying.
"Anaita, everything's OK," he mumbled to me. "Why don't I take you home?"
"That rehab shithole is NOT my house," I hissed at him. "My house is in New York." I swear he flinched at that and I felt sorry, but I certainly wasn't going to say I was. Let him flinch. "Besides, Marissa can take me home."
Real amusement flickered in his eyes and I knew what he was about to say wasn't going to make me very happy.
"Marissa's a little tied up right now." He wiggled his eyebrows and I was furious.
"What did you do to her jackass!? I HOPE she gave you that black eye!" I growled. He immediately covered his eyes and color rushed to his cheeks and I knew he was angry too.
"No!" he growled back at me. "She's FUCKING a fucking sober Joe who has a baby!"
The music stopped playing and I looked away from his face just to see a sea of people looking at us, their faces contorted in surprise, disgust, amusement, and shock. But only one person had anger. I recognized her. She was Molly.
"WHAT!?" she screamed so loud that it was even louder than the music (that had been recently turned off).

Molly's POV
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Joe was supposed to be faithful to me!
"And he's not even using protection so he's probably going to have ANOTHER baby with your slutty friend from New York that he JUST met!" Nick continued, not aware that everything had stopped. Anaita covered his mouth and I was angered. If that SLUT was Anaita's friend, of course Anaita would want her to be happy.
"No, continue Nick," I growled as I stepped to the front of the shocked crowd.
Nick looked as if he'd been slapped in the face. Twice. "N-Nothing else to say," he mumbled. "We were just...making up a story."
I sneered at him. "Unlikely story. Now...tell me the truth!"
He gulped and whispered, "I'm sorry Molly."
How could Joe do this to me!? A slideshow of him since I met him appeared. The picture that stuck in my face was that hypocrite pretending that he EVER cared about me! A sob broke through my chest and I felt like I was falling. I felt a sharp pain in my head, heard screams around me, and blackness finally swam up to me and engulfed me.
