variable air intake function test

The "Iltis 10" formula student racecar with a suzuki gsxr 600 engine. The engine is tuned with a fully variable self developed air intake, the adjustment is powered by a "LinMot" high performance linear actuator at 24 V. On the other side the engine is equipped with a custom 4 in 1 exhaust system, designed by ourselves.

In this video you can see the mechanical components of the air intake system. The carbon fibre tubes are connected, so one single linear actuator moves all intake tubes together. The acceleration is about 30 m/s² at a voltage of 24 V, possible is even about 150 m/s² at 72 V.

What kind of linear actuator and controller are you using? I'm looking into a similar configuration for another project but almost all of the high speed linear actuators I come across have very limited motion control capabilities.
