@jd7779311 Sorry, I like this song and all, but that's just BS. We're 6 billion people here and the time has gone for statements like that. For every virtuoso you know there are 100 people out there that you've never heard of and never will, but who can do at least the same. There's only one Chaka, though.

Perfection! I love when she goes high, she sounds just like the alto saxophone. It's really amazing. I don't know many people who sound like an instrument.

Well - @jd7779311 Chaka Khan does what she does, and other singers do what they do.
If we slavishly compare each singer to another singer, no one would ever stand out.
Individually, singers possess their own unique coordinates on a circle. So, why cant individual artists be appreciated for what they uniquely produce rather than in comparison with someone else?
