No three-way light bulbs?

They are great! -Use the lower wattage filament for pleasant room lighting.

Higher wattage filament for reading or working or cleaning, etc.

You have too many 25 watt light bulbs.

What good are they?

Even if you add them together, they are still too dim and use a lot of electricity.

I get many free - people are replacing their light bulbs with CFLs

Our bulbs add heat which is nice in winter. Electric heat is 100% efficient.

I use a 25 watt candle bulb holder at night as a dim light while watching tv.

He doesn't like compact fluorescent lamps so he is stocking up for when the lamps are phased out. Which will be completed in the UK by 2011. In the US with multiple exceptions the phase out will occur during the frame from 2012 to 2014.

you sure have alot of lightbulbs! Wish we bought some before the ban in the UK happened. LED bulbs cost a fortune and most can't even compete with the brightness of a 60w incandescent.
