Part II of Act 3 Scene 2 of Walkerville(WCI)'s production of Shakespeares A Midsummer Night's Dream. Our production took advantage of the use of black lights for the fairy scenes in the play, but a week before show time, our director bought into the idea of doing a slow-mo Star Wars-like scene, which probably isn't the first thing you'd expect to find it's way into a Shakespeare play. Again, sorry for the change and lack of content, some more normal stuff will hopefully be up relatively soon.

P.S. yes, Oberon is wearing Darth Maul make-up. It was only for closing night, usually he just had random patterns.

  • and who was the director...

    mr. nabben?

  • yup

  • REALLY!! was the mud necessary??

i'm doing the same production and well im hermia and i

m just charging at Helena while the boys hold me back and throw me against a wall and the floor... no mud

  • No, the sword fight or the mud weren't necessary at all. The fairy scenes being down in black light was also unnecessary. We just did like 12 matinees for grades 5 and up I think, so we wanted to give them something more than language they'd barely understand. It really sucked their interest back right about at the half way mark.

    Plus it was fun.

    And it looked cool.

  • Cool. I really hope both episodes come out before the new school year, considering this'll be your last year in Grade 13.

  • Nah, last year in grade 12, no 13.
