i just feel sorry for the child and i would suggest it would be very necessary if the people around him would really try to understand and accept this kid,it's normal actually i dont know why people never put themselves a times in other people shoes?i just blame the society and of schools the teachers too,i just cant help it but feel for these kid and the parent...but i can as well see a great future for these kid.

I hope that the parents understand that the childs understanding of himself or herself is what matters most. hopefully whichever doctors get involved understand that the child is the only person who has a right to decide what is chosen for his/her self. Now it is true that many IS affected people are happy as women, but want to remind people that just as many are happy as men.
I'm confused about the "visitor" who noticed the child was "different" when the parents did not. What was really going on?

corrective surgery is not the answer.....society is the problem here..not the child. What is wrong with being born this way? Nothing! Absolutely Nothing! But society (WE human beings) force gender identity on ourselves. I cannot even imagine what kind of psychological turmoil this poor kid is going through.....surgery is likely to make it worse...especially if the wrong gender is chosen (it's not all about genitalia ...the mind is part of the equation too)
