A compilation of race car crashes between the 1920 and 1950. These blokes were crazy. How some walked away is beyond us

  • Those guys had massive balls of steel! Obviously their love for racing overcame the fear of dying. Big, big respect to each and every dude who dared to sit in a racing car during those days. I'd say that you were much more likely to die in a race in 1920's to 1970's than finish the race and walk away without any injuries.

  • Why can't he still have race cars built as tough as they were back then? They were incredibly strong and so was the willingness of the drivers. Those men (and women?) were real brave to take on the challenge of almost death each and every race they competed in, and we thank them in making what motorsport is today (:

  • Jesus... The car that blew up in flames... That's brutal, poor man! Does anyone know if some of these Grand Prix races from the 20's to the 50's is available on video? Got interested in these old race cars and races when I played The Saboteur!
