The Reebok Zig Slash Performance Review

Hey everyone! I'm glad to be the first guy on youtube with the review on this particular shoe, and its my first video! This is a Performance Review on the New John Wall shoe, the Reebok Zig Slash. Please Comment and Enjoy the video! I had bought the shoe a long time before it was released in footlocker, foot-action etc...

pros:
Cushioning is VERY NICE in my opinion.
Ankle support is good.
Lock down is superb.
Toe box room is great.
Excellent for training.

Cons: TRACTION!!! they can be improved greatly, unless you like the quiet nonsqueak feel on the floor then you might want to consider these shoes strictly for training.
Break in time is LONG, you really have to get used to the shoe first. I highly recommend you DO NOT play in these immediately

Would you recommend the Zig Slash or the Zig Encore? Icould get a pair of zig slashes for $60 and I would have to pay $114 for the zig encores...

@HDsinemaa I would recommend the Encores, definitely the improved upon the slashes in almost every way, the fit, traction, lower to the ground, weight, all that.

I agree 100%...thnx for the review, i thought i was the only one who was sliding everywhere on the court....def not enough traction...but everything else is pretty tight...looks wise and comfort

@Jrodsgirl77 Thanks for the help, I ended up going with the slash's just because they were $55 cheaper lol, just more money saved in my pocket, I tired on both shoes when I went to Hibbetts sports and they both felt about the same so I figured that it wasnt worth the extra money for the encores...

@HDsinemaa I'd go with the slash. They're comfortable and feel cool on the ground,like you're bouncing.Just try to get em half a size bigger. i got mine for $60 at footlocker.

the traction sucks, i played in mine today. they put the traction on the toes of the foot. They put ZERO traction on the soles of the foot
