James Dean probably paid this guy to make this shit. You can learn all this stuff free online (search XBR depot, their guide is free and they have the best repair hardware and tools). But most of these red ring xbox 360s need a reflow first to get rid of the red rings and then an x-clamp replacement is just to prevent it from coming back.

THIS is how marketing is done. All those websites claiming that this works, especially the ones on the first two pages of any search engine, are ALL this guy himself (probably not really "James Dean" to protect his real identity from being punished by physical harm). This creates a false sense of market and security in buying something. If you walk into Walgreens, or CVS, you can compare and know for fact that there are two stores competing. This guy creates it falsely by using the Internet.
