Police beat us at station say detained China students

Students from China studying in a local college here have been detained following a fight with other youths during a 'Hungry Ghost' festival event.

They were detained at the Puchong Jaya police station where they have alleged that they were further beaten by police.

Serdang police chief Abdul Razak Alias denied the claims yesterday, but said there will be an investigation. He postulated that the injuries on the students were afflicted at the fight, and not by his personnel.
