hi! is there a way to make cut guidelines to the blackout so that its easier to paste the parts?

open image in gimp, use the threshold tool, save and import into inkscape. then use the trace bitmap tool to convert the bitmap to paths.

How do you create a black and white vector image from a original picture you would find on the internet or something? maybe I explained that correctly. Ex. A color image of pooh.
