i had literally the exact same thing in the same exact spot. let me tell you, i am 20 years old and it about brought tears to my eyes when they cultured it. i have broken my leg and collar bone and this was by far the most painful thing i have had done. For this little boy to be so content is amazing. that is one strong little guy right there.

Wow. He already had one on his leg? Real responsible mom, maybe you should take better care of your son. When I was a freshman in high school I contracted mrsa from a hobo spider bite and it is PAINFUL to drain, lance, pack. I can only imagine being a toddler. Fucked up.

The poor kid. Too bad this infection isn't amenable by antibiotics alone. At least it's easier to take those than to have all this done to you. Ouch.
