I imagine this dream approach to midwifery takes several of years to correct these beliefs installed in our past experiences...

Speaking of Dharma succession, this approach to dreams seems more similar to Pierre's talk about Chinul's approach to meditation than anything from Plato. Not that that's a bad thing, by any means. Just an observation.
