Uh, aren't Nirvana just big fans of the Pixies and influenced by them, and as a result sort of sound like them a bit? Who in the 90's doesn't sound like the pixies a bit?
Errr, Cobain admitted in various interviews that he was pretty much ripping off the Pixies...I like Nirvana, but get your facts straight, dude. Also, listen to more than one Pixie song before you start talking abouut their lack of diversity.
dude Nirvana was influenced by The Pixies. Nirvana's my favorite band. Kurt Cobain's my hero. i love The Pixies. they're both just as good as eachother. so fuck you and learn about what your talking about
Nirvana guy please!? No need to get childish and have me diminish Nirvanas contributions. They were just fine and made some great songs. Grohls subsequent success shows they were truly talented as a group... But not since Jim Morrison has there been a more overrated group. I would call them great, but the end all be all the angst ridden teens of the 90s thought. PLEASE...really no need to compare, like who you want but know your stuff if your gonna post
