As it states ladies and gents... STS-126 Launched on November 14, 2008 at 755pm EST video from the KSC parking lot across from OSB 2/Fire Station in front of the VAB. Enjoy.

  • Yeah, I'm making the drive over from Tampa tomorrow night. I can't friggin wait!!! Probably heading to Titusville as that's the closest spot off station and def bringing the camera along with me. I've been to the last 3 shuttle launches and the last 2 Delta IV heavy launches. It's absolutely without any hesitation worth the 5 hr roundtrip drive from Tampa. Looks like you have a great vantage point! Look forward to your video! ;-)

  • That was just great! Looks like you were on site south of the VAB but pretty far from the press bleachers and the crowd. Wish we could all get soooo close! Well, before 2001 we could just drive up to about anywhere on base. Wow, those were the days.

    Your video is about as good as cameras get. Whoever can patent what we really see and hear from that distance on a camera will be incredibly rich. No camera really does it justice. But great job & thanks for the flashbacks! See my video ...
