Nissan N12 Restoration Project Slideshow, December 2008

This is my first slideshow summary of the car project so far. I found an old recording of the car with the old engine in place. The engine is running quite badly, as you can hear. It was about time to replace the engine.

I've got a et15 with 40thou bored out and a bigger turbo ( out of a sr20) with fj20 injectors and rb30 throttle body in my little exa turbo it's still a work in progress

@DAReXWiDAFFeX Ah, that sounds good. I assume you will be using a stand-alone engine management system?

It'd be great to see a couple of vids of your car progress! There aren't many N12 videos online, and a few of them are, sadly, of the 'try to blow up the engine' type.

yea the lil camira is a really good car when looked after many pll say there shit but it comes down 2 how the car was looked after but then agen the first camiras were very shit i was just lucky i got of the last run of them the last run of any model of car is always the best

Did some research... the E15S has 55 kW, and the fuel injected c18ne would have 83 kW. The c20ne is as strong as the E15ET; 85 kW. :)

I see. But wouldn't even a c18ne be stronger in kW than my E15S engine? And the c20ne is probably stronger than my E15ET. It's 1.5 liters versus 2 liters, I'm quite sure mine's weaker. :P

woulnt say stronger when nissan improve on holdens c20ne and c18ne they made better engine mounts

Ah, I see. Your engine is just half a liter bigger and probably a lot stronger than mine then :)
