Highlight reel of the behind the scenes footage from REP Interactive of the Burlesque Photo Shoot with OK! Magazine and Sebastian. The Burlesque Lounge has its best days behind it. Tess, a retired dancer and owner of the venue, struggles to keep the aging theater alive, facing all kinds of financial and artistic challenges. With the Lounge's troupe members becoming increasingly distracted by personal problems and a threat coming from a wealthy businessman's quest to buy the spot from Tess, the good fortune seems to have abandoned the club altogether. Meanwhile, the life of Ali, a small-town girl from Iowa, is about to change dramatically. Hired by Tess as a waitress at the Lounge, Ali escapes a hollow past and quickly falls in love with the art of burlesque. Backed by newfound friends amongst the theater's crew, she manages to fulfill her dreams of being on stage herself. Things take a dramatic turn though when Ali's big voice makes her become the main attraction of the revue.

  • This is another video I would have liked to have filmed. I've been on film sets for years and whether I'm in front of the camera or behind it, I have a great time on sets...even in the 13th hour :) Knowing the work flow of the departments that make up a film, I feel like I would be able to get some good footage without being a pest to the filmmakers trying to get through the day. And also, its a networking opportunity for future endeavors with folks that are in the industry.

  • Kudos for the entire production. Great video footage, The music set the tone and the editing was first rate. The part of the video I would have liked to have filmed the most was everything. Having the ability to work with the producer and director of this segment with their required shots list or given the latitude to just shoot would have allowed me to be everywhere. Give the editing/production team the footage and let them work their coordinated magic. (Diego - silencedogood2009)

  • Very stylish presentation.... Lush settings, lighting schemes and gorgeous models make it stand out. It didn't feel like a commercial presentation at all.

Always been fascinated by what goes on behind, or underneath the stage and it's definitely inspiring for someone like me who's shot several 'behind the scenes' videos for models, stylists, musicians, actors, performers and the like...

I love that "movie within a movie" feel to it.

  • Such fitting music for this! Great choice!

  • Very cool. I loved the way this video allowed you to join those on the film shoot, enjoy the company of the cast and crew and as we were doing so, we learned about the product at the heart of the piece. But it was done with a great, light touch. We didn't feel that we were being sold anything, but we left knowing of the product and feeling that it's quality. Really well done; good job to all who made it.
