This Boeing 747 makes its final landing in McMinnville, OR, before being added to the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum collection. NewsRegister.com video
I drive by this museum a couple times a week when I go to Cascade Steel in McMinnville. That plane is currently sitting out front of the museum and they are taking all the engines off the wings. Why? I don't know.
What is the normal stopping distance for a 747? and, How much runway is required to stop it. Can Portland,Or handle heavy's? What about Salem?
