This is a trailer-ish type video for the exquisite book A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. Also, this is my submission for Miss Bray's contest on her LiveJournal. (If you're reading this, Libba, thank you!)

If you are unfamiliar with this trilogy, the plot of the first, in a nutshell, is this: Gemma Doyle is a spirited sixteen-year-old girl being brought up in Bombay, India in the time of Victorian England. On the day of her sixteenth birthday, she sees her mother in a vision being murdered by a ghoulish monster. Following these events, she is sent to Spence Academy for Young Ladies in England to be educated into a fine, well-bred woman. There, she befriends some of the schools most manipulative and dangerous girls. But her visions still haunt her, and a mysterious young man named Kartik has followed her all the way from India. While at Spence, she discovers a shadowy cult called The Order, and through a diary written by one of their priestesses, she enters a beautiful land called the Realms where anything is possible. And there she is reunited with her mother, and begins to discover dark secrets about Spence, a woman named Circe intent on her demise, the Order, her friends, family...and herself.

Great clips! The logos on the Little Princess clips are a little annoying, but I love, love, LOVE your clips and what better choice of film for the realms than Legend?
