The metamorphosis of the bass line was totally wicked!

Hi, I'm a beginner with the piano. I just came across your videos. They are good. I hope to learn more from you. Thank you very much.

Thank you for posting these videos. Great stuff!

@schoolofmusiconline Are you going to post any videos ( or have you done so) outlining how to do the right hand chords too?
-
Wow,that's a really orgasmic chord progression.

Can you briefly go over these chord progressions?

@icj503 Sure thing. Before I do, are you aware that I've further broken this up into ten parts? I think 1-6 are on YouTube and the other 4 are on their way. If you've checked them all out and wan't more explanation just send another comment. I'm happy to help. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes I have watched videos 1-6. I'd like to practice the same RH chords as you along with each lesson. For now I'm just using M m chords which ever sounds good. Your videos are really helpful many thanks!

@icj503 thanks for the kind words. The chord progression is the same as the first 8 bars of Autumn Leaves. It's a very common progression. Here are the extended chords:
Cm9 -C,Eb,G,Bb,D
F9 - F,A,C,Eb,G
BbMaj9 - Bb,D,F,A,C
EbMaj9 - Eb,G,B,D,F
Am7b5 - A,C,Eb,G,B
D7b9 - D,F#,A,C,Eb
Gm9 - G,Bb,D,F,A
G7b9 - G,B,D,F,Ab
These are definately more involved than simple triads. I'd suggest putting the root in your left hand, and arrange the other notes in the right so that they are close to the last chord.
