@explod2A03: I like pal too (get used to it) and it sounds more natural for me. Also, in Japan the TV system is PAL, so I assume that most of the game's music is created for PAL :) (sorry US gamers...)

Hmm, I'm pretty sure this should be the correct speed (but I"ll double check when I can)! Any chance you may be used to listening to a PAL version on an NTSC setting? That's a pretty common way of listening to some NES music faster than it is supposed to be...
