Terre D' Hermes Cologne/Fragrance Review (2006)

This is my take on this great fragrance. One of Jean Claude Ellena's better creations: Terre D' Hermes EDT by Hermes.

This is a great citrus, pink pepper, woody scent! Very unique!

I knew I needed to have this since the first time I sampled it. Its a pure gentlemans perfume, earth, soil, fire. Like all other Hermes, unique, complex and exclusive for the mature crowd. I worked in a 5 star hotel when I bought this, it was perfect with a suit and tie in an luxury environmnet. Good review, captures all about the perfume. I wouldnt wear it during summer on my off days, the Jardin collection is perfect for that. Btw check out Hermessce Poivre Samarcande, spicy pepper, amazing.

This fragrance has a very strong opening and really kicks you in the nose. Very distinctive and unique. I was almost taken aback from it at first, but I stayed with it and now I love it. It has an acridness to it , along with the woodsy aspects that is harsh, but when it dries down on your skin becomes very pleasant. This fragrance is now the cornerstone of my collection. Others have come and gone but this one remains.

i agree with you're take on it...definitely for a confident man.. not a youngster, i have been wearing this in the office. lots of compliments from women my age. it is distintive and exudes a confidence. a mature scent. reminds me of those strong masculine barber shop scents just better..i am glad it doesn't appeal to everyone. that has been the challenge for me finding something that is unique and different from what all the young guys wear, their scents are too sweet for my taste. ty..
