  • what happened to the programme? About 2 mins of intro and 2 secs of the show. Seems pointless to me.

  • 'Follows shortly' That's somethnig you don't see any more. They just fill up the gaps between programmes with annoyingly loud and brash trailers, now.

  • Waaaaittt a minute.."Mark"?? Is this the same Mark who was a hospital porter in the last clip? What happened, did he get sacked??

  • ooops! apologies, not from the "Carnival Of The Animals" at all. But I have it right now for you. It is "Jeux d'enfants" (Petite Suite)No.5 The Galop by Bizet.

It can be found on a Naxos CD on Amazon.

  • Hi there - I've wondered what this music was for years! Have listened to some of the Carnival tracks online but can't seem to find one I recognise. Do you know which track in particular it is based on?

    Thanks

    Nick

  • Music is from The Carnival Of The Animals by Saint Saens

  • I like the cog thing and music, It reminds me of being off sick with a cup of coco.

  • Whatever the music here is called, Alan Freeman used to use it on his shows (sometimes as backing for his rundowns when he sat in for David Jensen on the Network Chart).

  • tx 5/11/1984 or 9/11/1984 (that's "9/11" in the only correct British sense, naturally enough). Announcer is Malcolm Eynon.
