Its more that we follow all kind of foreign people with a loud voice.

We germans are really good in ignoring bad things on people as long as they have a few good things. But I wonder what the good thing on Obama might be?!

We had change in 1933, too, but was it really that good? Change is like a Snake. Don't touch it until you know where the mouth is but sometimes you have the misfortune that the snake is no viper but a constrictor.

That's right, Gamorri. in Goethe's time, everything French was acclaimed in Germany, because the French culture was supposed to be the best in Europe at that time. You HAD to speak French then, as you HAVE to speak English today. A very interesting subject, but also a potential troublesome one. Therefore, I won't go into cultural politics. Let's just "harmlessly" smile at our own German accent, that way anyone should be happy^^
