My latest mod on my Peugeot 406, Philips Xenon (HID) 6000K 35W H7 on the dipped/low beam headlights. I`m quiete satisfied with the lights, but it looks like I need to adjust the left headlight a little down. Compared with the halogen foglights, it gives a much whiter light. My next mod will be xenon bulbs on the high beam (55W).

  • do the 6000k only look blue on start up? cuz after a few seconds the blue went away. Im thinking of getting 6000k, I want good quality light with a little hint of blue, 6000k is the right one?

  • @BruceLeeSXV

Yes they still have a hint of blue color after startup, in the dark you can see it best. I made this video with a nokia that has not got the best camera. I can make another with a better camera and upload soon.

  • how did the kit cost?

  • @klitoni1

The kit cost 125 euros in Norway. It includes two bulbs, cables, digital slim ballasts with canbus-killer and brackets for installation. Its a super kit! :)

  • @NuttaPearl thnx.so it is original Philips?i have read some post on forums that philips does not produces hid kits . im confused :O

  • @klitoni1

Well, yes I know there is confusion about if its orignal philips or not. As far as I know these are kits that are not licensed by Philips in europe, but are produced in China under Philips but not approved by Philips in europe and so on and so on.... Still...I`m satisfied with the product, it gives MUCH brighter lights, brighten roadsigns much better and ofcourse, makes the car look much cooler with xenon than with "candlelights" illumina.. ;)

  • @NuttaPearl thankyou for answering.

The difference is that H4 and H7 is two different bulb types, so H4 won`t fit in a H7 lamp and vice versa. So check which type your car has first.

  • what the differens between Xenon Philips kit original H7 6000k

and Xenon Philips kit original H4 6000k ?
