well, before the age of firearms, normally, the more horses in the Army, the more powerful the army was. mongols are just to be ignored nowaday, they are totally leg out of the modern world... and Qin's army was the most well equiped in that period of the history... so they were the best

There are really no perfect army, mongols will surely meet their doom if they invade germany. germans are very strong in close combat infantry. defeating germans will lose alot of manpower for mongols. mongols will have to fight dismounted. mongols are strong in range weapons but if u can get close to them when they dismounted, mongols are in disadvantage. No army is perfect.

But i dont really think the macedonians are so powerful but still in terms of quality they are better than chinese troops, if they cross into germania, it will be suicide for them. No army is perfect i guess. The most powerful mongol cavalry will also meet their doom if they cross into germany. in germany there are too many forest and fighting close combat is definetely. mongols are gd in cavalry but cavalry are very disadvantagous in woods.
