First time I've heard this one. It's moving and it makes me move. Very uplifting...made me feel better right away.

Does anyone know what happened to Perri? I would love to hear them produce some new music. They are definitely talented and they were one of my faovirtes back in the day.

BTW this is on a CD called "The Flight" by Perri. You can probably find it on the internet.

This tune was originally an instrumental called "Uptown East" by Special EFX. Perri has frequently put words to familiar jazz tunes. They toured with Pat Metheny many years ago. They have done vocal versions of Metheny's "Jaco" and "Travels". They also do a great cover of Steely Dan's "The Caves of Altamira".
