    Why does Mr. Leadmine sailor think that the wing out is good? As a cat goes down and slows like that with it already off the wind, letting the sail out actually drives the boat over.

    Gennaker up too early, before bear-away. Flying hull. Notice that the boat to leeward and ahead also deployed earlier than everyone else (but later than Oracle) with both hulls in the water and they also started to nosedive but recovered.
