IIRC, SMRS is the Sydney Model Railway Society, and is a "closed shop" group located on Arncliffe station. AIRC, its membership is by "Invitation Only". I'm open to correction as I too have good quality model trains looking for a layout to run on. :-)

The SMRS is located on Platform 2 at Arncliffe station and members meet from 1930ish on Monday nights (public holidays excepted) The fixed layout is HO scale Australian predominantly NSW run off standard DC. We do have a DCC exhibition layout "Mungo Scotts" but this isn't set up on the regular nights (doesn't fit in the club rooms)
