@tvtimetravel Actually Kenny Williams did announce one Goodson-Todman game show in the early days of television (I can't remember the title) according to "The Encyclopedia of TV Game Shows". And interestingly enough, about the only two Heatter-Quigley games he did not announce were "Temptation" and "The Magnificent Marble Machine" which were both hosted by Art James.

@theatre4nothing This was a few years before she had her comeback with "Freeway Of Love" so she must have been going through a lull in her music career

@theatre4nothing The same way they were able to get Cass Elliot and other VERY famous musicians, singers, etc.. Famous people in those days liked to have fun and didn't mind appearing on TV. I mean stars like Janis Joplin. She was on a Tom Jones special and even sang a duet with him. Cass appeared on Johnny Cash's show twice and sang not only her current hits at those times but also duet with him. Stars weren't the stuck-up, over-rated, and over-priced brats that they are now & did GS's & etc..

It's funny to see the people who would appear on this show. Like, I never would have thought I'd see Vincent Price on "Hollywood Squares," but I heard he was a frequent guest for awhile and enjoyed playing up his "menacing voice" while giving answers. That's just awesome!
Tom Kline looks like Santa claus!

Kenny William's isn't my favorite Squares announcer of all time, but man nothing beat him cracking up during the intro. RIP Good sir
