What i find the most remarkable thing is how L.D.S can't do anything but scrape flawed evidence. And this they do to prove Joe's teaching's are true. And yet everything else show's Joe was a man after his own heart(33 wives) and used Jesus Christ to cover up his sin's. And the Church still does it today. Mark 7:6-16. That's Christ Speaking there. Joe taught a convienent Hell and that he was needed to complete the gospel. Why did the 3 Nephites let God's Word fail were they apostels or not?

@Thebackyardfreemason for one who is so sure about his (proposed) "evidence", you sure take a very defensive tone. what i meant with my comment was that what you are presenting and dedicating your life to is irrelevant when science has disproven the core issues of mormonism/christianity/judaism
: mtDNA tests show that 1) native americans came from north east asia around 10,000 BCE (BOM) 2) mankind descends from an african woman around 200,000 BCE (OT) -
In other words, you can't deal with the evidence I presented, so you go off on rabbit trails because you are incapable of dealing with the evidence in the video.

first off: calm down. second: read church history. the lds church is a hoax. third: archeology and dna disprove the book of mormon and the old testament.

yeah it is pretty brutal!
I hope it stays in the ancient world!
I'm glad Ammon wasn't collecting scalps, we would never have heard the end of it.

I'm afraid I do not know the context of your presentation (whether someone said nothing like that ever happened, that is) but asserting that, because a practice is known to have occurred any instance citing that practice also occurred as well, is ridiculous.
Ancient cultures smiting off arms doesn't prove that a particular person had their arm smitten at a particular place, by a particular person or for a particular reason, let alone whether or not it was smitten at all.
Powerful?

Of course it doesn't prove this specific individual did this. I specifically discussed patterns of events that happen. That pattern is logical, realistic, and found in our Book of Mormon. To say it's not there as well as the ancient world is simply not possible thanks due to the archaeological discoveries in both the Old Worlds and New Worlds. That was what I was pointing out. The pattern is realistic and congruent with actual practices anciently. No purple patches or outlandish information.
