A response to BK Critic's vid. I choose the Bronze Age. I wanted to mention some under the radar stuff, so I forgot to include a ton of important comics, so I'll do a follow up real soon! Don't hate me. Fair Use. I don't own any of these images. My blog http://ed2962.wordpress.com

Man, haven't thought about Cracked magazine in decades. I used to grab that because I couldn't get ahold of other comics.

Cracked still has a website, but it isn't the same. I still remember all the great Severin and Ward from back in the day (even if I didn't know who they were when I was a kid).

It's been a while since I seen it, but one random thing I remember was Bill Griffith talking about Zippy. Do you think with all the comic books movies coming out he can finally get his movie made or do you think maybe Zippy's time has passed?

The greatest age of comic books would be the silver and the Bronze age. fun, bizarre.kid freindly books super heroes fighting super villains good times hanging at the local comic shop. the worst age would be the moder age or current 2010 to 2011 they suck!!!! no wonder sales are down! Like the current DC comics there is not one book that is published today would I buy. comics need a complete over haul

There's still decent comics around, but it's harder and harder to find them through all the hype and exploitive gimmicks.

I have this weird feeling that Zippy might be a good talk-show host like Space Ghost... or a recurring animated segment on SNL... and then I think nah, Zippy should be a kids program 'cause he isn't any weirder than sponge bob
