This film was released the same week as a re-release of "Sleeping Beauty." I can see why "Sleeping Beauty" did so well and this film did not. This film made $8.5 million compared to "Sleeping Beauty"'s $15 million. I think Dark Heart is more scarier than Maleficient and the scenery and music in "Sleeping Beauty" are MUCH better to watch and listen to than this. Flora, Fauna, Merriweather, and even Aurora are better than the characters in this film. Plus, this song is no "Once Upon a Dream".

I can remember watching this movie growing up on many ocassions. Classic! I can relate to Funkyspice's comment below b/c my I have ALMOST all the songs from the soundtracks PLUS both movies (Wonderland wasn't released in the US. It was released a year after this one). What 80's baby didnt grow up watching Care Bears?
