Audiences everywhere are in for a Smurfy good time as the Smurfs make their first 3D trip to the big screen in Columbia Pictures'/Sony Pictures Animation's hybrid live-action and animated family comedy, The Smurfs.

When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours -- in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

This movie S-U-C-K-E-D!!! I was one of the Smurf fans of the 80's Smurf tv cartoon shows. I remebered it well. When I saw just the poster I already hated it, not to mension the trailers that showed. The Smurf stories which came from Peyo's comics and Han-Bar's tv cartoons takes place in a magical forest in Belgium during the Middle Ages. Somewhere along the 1200 - 1400s centuries. Not in the big busy cities of today! There doesn't exist a Scottish smurf. All the Smurfs are Belgian.

I got so dissapointed...I couldn't imagine something with Neil Patrick Harris and the smurfs could get so shitty and unwatchable...
