What a cutie! How could anyone NOT love a springer spaniel? My springer does the same thing if you put something new in a room....a box....a suitcase...they're just the funniest lil beings!

My dog starts pawing at the hover like a cat and then barks and runs away to hide behind someone and then five seconds later, comes to investigate again

my springers do the same thing with the watering can and hose and the hose wudnt even be on aswell haha

HA ! that brings back happy memories,! The vacuum cleaner was the 'Arch-Nemesis' of my springer as well !
it used to just totally freak him out, plastic bags caught on barbed wire fences in the wind also used to make him strangely nervous as well. (honestly !)

Too funny...and what typical springer puppy behavior, lol. Our springer, Hendrix, is famous for barking like mad at our neighbors little tiny dog...until she comes over to the fence. Then he runs like h*ll, lol. They're always brave...at first, rofl!

I had a springer named 'Tess' and she used to love being hoovered. When I was doing the stairs, she used to stand on the next stair up, so that I couldn't pass without hoovering her!! Tess died 3 weeks before she would have been 14 years old in January 2010. We have another pup now 'Star' and she hates the hoover, though sometimes she will rush past it to get to us - so we are hoping she won't stay frightened of it for long. (Maybe!!). I just love springer spaniels!! :-)
