Inseparable - A JB Love Story [Chapter 7, Part 1]

When we left off, Caroline and Jaydlyn decide to go shopping for her second date with Joe. I spy with my little eye...a romance in the making! Please comment and tell all of your friends about the story!

The two walked to Jaydlyn's house and then drove to the mall. When they walked in, they saw Brett.

Brett: Hey, baby. There's a bit of a problem.
Jaydlyn; What? You realize that I don't like you?
Brett: Actually, I'm starting to assume that. I heard that you were dating someone? Are you cheating on me?
Jaydlyn: *laughs* Brett, we were NEVER together. Plus, I'm not dating.
Brett: That's not what I heard. I heard that you were on the beach for multiple hours with someone.
Jaydlyn: Honestly, Brett, I didn't even think you knew a word that big.
Brett: So now you have jokes. You don't intimidate me.
Caroline: It looks like someone has been reading their dictionary lately.
Brett: Whatever, Carolina.
Caroline: It's-
Jaydlyn: Care, don't even listen to him. He's crazy.
Brett: I'm only crazy for you, baby.
Jaydlyn: Whatever.
Caroline: Let's go, Jay.
Jaydlyn: Bye.
Caroline: He's weird.
Jaydlyn: I know. Look at that dress!
Caroline: Yeah, it's like, semi-formal.
Jaydlyn: That's exactly what I'm looking for.
Caroline: Do you want it?
Jaydlyn: Caroline, I-
Caroline: I'm buying it.
Jaydlyn: You're so stubborn.
Caroline: I'm aware. Now let's go get this dress. And don't you have stuff to match this? See, you don't even have to buy accessories.
Jaydlyn; I guess.
Caroline: Whatever, Jay. Go try it on and see if you like it.
*Jaydlyn took the dress off of the rack and went into the dressing room. Less than a minute later, she came back out.*
Caroline: Well, do you like it?
Jaydlyn: It's nice, but-
Caroline: Great! We're buying it.
Jaydlyn: Fine, Caroline. Anyways, do you wanna eat afterwards?
Caroline: Yeah, at the food court?
Jaydlyn: Yeah, but then I have to wash the car.
Caroline: Alrighty, then. Here, take your bag. With your dress.
Jaydlyn: Come on, let's go.

*They walk into the food court and right in the middle they see Joe, Kevin, and Nick eating lunch at a table. *

Caroline: Hey, look! Isn't that Joe right there?
Jaydlyn: Whoa, I think it is.
Caroline: Come on, let's go sit with them!
Jaydlyn: Isn't that kind of intrusive? Plus, you don't even like JB.
Caroline: Fine, I was just helping you.
Jaydlyn: Whatever, Care. Let's just go eat.

*They order food and then sit at a table on the side.*

Caroline: This food is pretty good. I don't eat at the food court much here.
Jaydlyn: Really? I eat here a lot.
Caroline: I guess JB does too. They're walking over.
Jaydlyn: *turned her head* Oh, hey guys.
Kevin: We saw you guys when you came in.
Caroline: Oh, okay.
Nick: Do you mind if we sit here?
Jaydlyn: Yeah, sure.
*The boys sat down at the table*
Nick: *to Caroline* So, what's your name? I mean, I've seen you, but never met you.
Caroline: Caroline. Some people just call me Care.
Nick: Okay then, Care. I'm Nick, and these are my brothers Joe and Kevin.
Caroline: I'm aware.
Nick: Okay. Well, anyways, hopefully we'll see you again, like at the competition.
Caroline: Yeah, I guess so.
Kevin: Anyways, How are you guys feeling about the competition?
Jaydlyn: Actually, we're pretty pumped. We can't wait to get on stage. It's a thrill.
Nick: Just remember to relax.
Joe: It's key.
Kevin: If you mess up, shake it off and keep going.
Jaydlyn and Caroline simultaneously: That's exactly what Dylan said.
Nick: Nice.
Kevin: Well, I guess we have to go.
Caroline: Oh, snap! Jaydlyn, we have to go, too. The Volvo?
Jaydlyn: Oh yeah! Okay, yeah, we gotta go. What time is it?
Nick: *looks at watch* Almost five.
Caroline: Yep, we gotta go. See you guys later!
Jonas: Bye!

*Jaydlyn and Caroline sprint towards the exit, leaving JB kind of puzzled*

I think this chapter is rather short, but it's cool.
Is Brett gonna interfere with the relationship Joe and Jay are building? Is Jay's insecurity about her money problems going to interfere with the relationship? Find out in the next chapter.
