I'm sorry, I just read your comment... And really? Do ballet, then talk.
Ballet dancers do ballet because they LOVE it. Not because they think that if they do ballet they'll be beautiful. Not all of us die of pain and starve ourselves. I've been dancing my entire life, and the worst I've ever gotten was a blister. Yeah, you get sore from working.. But honestly, which dancer doesn't? If you don't get sore, you're not working hard enough.

Lol people just do not understand how hard ballet is. I's not about kicking high and spinning, it's about being hyper-aware that every inch of your body is perfect symmetry, including hip turnout which is unnatural for the body and takes years to master. Not to mention you are doing all of this on pointe, a balance circumference of just a few inches. Those turns she does in the end are SO hard; dancers spend their ENTIRE lives and countless hours practice getting to that kind of level.

It was Indian soloist who trully won.
Ballet may be hard and so is Robert's popping.
But what was more fascinating at the end, turned out to be the kathak dance.
