This test file was captioned in French using Subtitle Workshop and translated using Google Translate. The 'translate' file was then uploaded to the English version of a test file already loaded in my YT account. When I uploaded it - I selected French as the language. I then changed Firefox's language to French and now when I view the file in the French browser - I see the French subtitles. If I view the same file in an English browser I see the English subtitles. I had to capture this video as it was playing in my FF French browser - so the audio is not great. Also, when you run it in the YT interface, the captioning will extend past the video if the video is smaller than the YT window. That's why you see text running on either side of the video. I captured it in Camtasia using the Web_02 preset I created.
